Therapy works best when the practical details are easy to understand. Below are current session fees, insurance details, and what to expect before scheduling.

Session Fees

Individual weekly sessions

60 minutes: $225

Individual biweekly sessions

60 minutes: $250

Couples sessions

75 minutes: $300

Extended sessions

90 minutes: available upon request

Extended sessions (90 minutes) offer additional time and space for individuals who prefer deeper exploration, have complex concerns they would like to address, or find that traditional 50–60 minute sessions feel rushed. These sessions can be particularly helpful during major life transitions, periods of heightened stress or anxiety, relationship challenges, or when engaging in more intensive therapeutic work. They are also a good option for busy professionals, academics, parents, and other individuals with demanding schedules who prefer to meet less frequently while still maintaining meaningful momentum, depth, and continuity in therapy.

Insurance

Define Therapy NY is in network with select insurance plans. Out-of-network superbills are available for clients who wish to submit claims directly to their insurance provider.
